Hosted by legendary comedian and “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno, the series explores our obsession with all things automotive. From classic cars to supercars and everything in-between, Jay is hitting the road to discover the most exciting, weird and wonderful vehicles ever made and meet the passionate people behind their wheels. Each one-hour themed episode features a mix of stunts, challenges, reviews, and celebrity interviews that showcases the colorful history of the automobile. Whether he’s exploring the story of an iconic brand, road-testing the newest super car, or investigating the latest automotive innovations, there is no wheel Jay won’t get behind to tell the story of our love affair with the car.
About Jay Leno: Acclaimed TV late night show host, admired stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist…it’s no wonder that Jay Leno is widely characterized as “the hardest working man in show business.”

The overhead cam jaguar engines( my two XK140's) have cam lobes directly on top of tappets which set on the valves.Very effectively reducing complex valve train moving parts which rob power from the engine. Why did Delorean use rockers?

Man, I cannot even begin to imagine what your upkeep budget is! Jay, since you're just going over various "in progress" and recently completed cars, seems a good time to suggest that in tribute to Jack Benny and (in sort of a roundabout way) Mel Blanc, you should go find yourself a Maxwell.

Jay, I know you do the odd episode about a prototype car. When I was a kid back in the 70's I remember seeing a picture of the Chevrolet Aerovette. It was mid engine & looked a lot cooler than the Corvette, but the project got canceled out of fears it would compete with Corvette sales. I was wondering if you could dig up enough information on it to do an episode.

Jay, I was curious about the decisions on the electric car. It will obviously be infinitely more road capable and comfortable after completion with the upgrades. But you often talk about originality. I wondered how you came to the decision for the major upgrades on this particular car. Will it have any effect on the value? Love the show! Keep them coming!

I used to have a '70 Pontiac LeMans "Sport" convertible years ago. I was the 3rd or 4th owner. By the time I got it, it had a 350 Chevy V-8 in it, but I could tell from the data plates, that it originally came with a 6 cylinder engine. I wasn't too interested at the time, but I vaguely remember, that it was listed as "OHC", Over Head Cam, so maybe it was the same kind of engine, that was in that Firebird?

Jay, I’ve heard you mention some of these comments and I hope you this one finds you well. Thanks for doing this show. It’s given me something worthwhile to watch during our challenges. Enjoyed your discussion of the Firebird in this show. The fbody 2nd gen Firebird trans ams have a big following and it would be nice to see a show where you explore these models, like a 1979 10th Anniversary silver edition and what components are being restored on these that do not jeopardize their originality. There are some talented folks out there specializing in these rides and it would be cool to see them featured as I’ve never seen you do a dedicated show on them. Thanks!

I do like most (if not all) the car videos on this channel and the way Jay is able to tell the story of each vehicle portrayed. But I have to admit that I am not sure if I like these restoration blog videos even more. It is exciting to see all the vehicles in the middle of their restoration process and hear about all the things that has to be done on them, not just the finished project. So a big thank you for all the content on this channel Jay! And a thank you for continuing doing these videos even during these strange times we are currently in!

This channel is obviously of interest to men and so is HAIR LOSS, so I post this important notice here because lucky JAY has a beautiful head of hair. Conventional medicine has FAILED to solve HAIR LOSS because it has focused only on blocking DHT. I cured my HAIR LOSS with a NEW method described at which explains why the MAIN cause of HAIR LOSS is not DHT but a reduction in the BLOOD FLOW to the scalp due to a tight lower scalp layer called the GALEA and shows how to cure hair loss with no drugs, no lotions and no surgery. Get the book and learn cost almost nothing.

Hi Jay I live in Canada about 30 miles from Detroit and about 30 miles from RM classic cars in the Chatham/ Blenheim area . I have a steam engine that was owned by Jack Miner of Kingsville Ontario who was a personal friend of Henry Ford. If you would like to know about Jack there is a book about him called " Wild Goose Jack ". If memory serves me it's mid 1880s 12 X 18 with a 7 foot flywheel. I would like to give it to you if your interested. Perhaps you might know someone at RM that I could contact to pit us into private contact. Regards John

I still remember seeing Jay's Toronado build when he first unveiled it. My jaw still hasn't fully returned to its normal height after that drop. I'll be excited to relive some of that again! The level of craftsmanship and creativity just blew me away. These videos always set such a high bar for both his attention to detail and knowledge of the history, mechanics, and just pure love of these vehicles. It is such a pleasure to watch. Thank you Jay for putting these on KGglobal for everyone to enjoy!

Jay is a passionate treasure for the Car-Guy world. He's long since allowed the craftsman who he employees, to simply come to the Garage, and do what they want. During this now-ending pandemic, he doesn't need to come to his Big Dawg Garage, and make videos for us.........or maybe thats the point. He does these shows for US!
